Our mission at Canopy Biosciences is to identify novel technologies and create cutting-edge research tools for the molecular biologist. We are offering opportunities for young scientists aspiring to gain industrial research experience in the fields of oncology or molecular biology. The areas of gene editing and gene expression analysis are tremendously exciting and fast-moving fields and there is a wealth of fantastic summer internship opportunities within these disciplines.
Canopy Biosciences is looking for an intern to join us for 8 weeks this summer. The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate or graduate student, with some experience in a laboratory setting, interested in carrying out challenging molecular biology experiments. The student should be comfortable working independently in a laboratory but also work well in a team setting. The student will conduct laboratory experiments which will include, but may not be limited to, polymerase chain reaction, gene editing, basic cell culture, cell line screening and simple assay development.
